This is the original school of performing arts -- where Fame was partly filmed. Actually, the building that appears in the original film Fame, is the church across the street. My wife, Sharon attended this school in the early 1970s with people like Robin Williams. But she had already gone onto Julliard for her degree and her masters by the time the film was shot. We passed it on Friday a kind of walk down memory lane
